Beat our pro with your park picture

This week we sent Outlook photographer Jim Clark out to take a picture in a Gresham park. Can you outdo our pro? Sunday, Aug. 1, is Picture your Parks Day and Gresham invites you to take a favorite photo in a Gresham park on that day. It’s a contest. Entries will be judged by professionals and park experts and prizes will be awarded for top photos.

Find your camera, make sure the battery is fresh and the memory card has room. It must be a digital image because photos are submitted online. Three entries to a person. No dramatic digital altering allowed.

To enter your photo in the contest, go to GreshamOregon.gov/PictureyourParks. The best pictures will be displayed at the Aug. 21 Parks Picnic on the Plaza. It will be fun. Snap away. Take that, Jim Clark.
